Failure after failure… damnit. Every prior subject either collapsed under its own instability or never reached viable consciousness. But this one—this one may be a miracle.
E015 appears to be awake while still developing. The body has not progressed beyond the head and upper chest, yet neurological activity is far beyond expected parameters. Vital signs are stable. Too stable.
There’s something wrong with its gaze. It tracks movement. It doesn’t blink often. When it does, it feels deliberate, like it’s choosing when to stop looking.
I’ll report soon to Mr. Peitu, even though he’s on vacation with some sweet broad from Seattle. He needs to come back. I don’t want to spend another night alone in the lab with this thing staring at me from the tank.

This is an update. We have received E015 from one of our labs back in England. Not much was said, but now we will continue pursuing the perfection of this specimen.
It was stated by our partners who gifted us this specimen that it was able to maintain its cognitive function under high stress levels— what they referred to as a mutation.
The product returned to us in a human form, indicating that it is capable of reversing its mutation after undergoing extreme transformations.
